From my own experience, I have found that true transformation starts with kindness to oneself rather than harsh destruction of the past self. The phrase “Becoming her doesn’t feel good” initially resonated with me because change can be uncomfortable and even painful. However, I've learned that discomfort often signals growth. Outgrowing old habits means gradually replacing limiting patterns with healthier ones. For example, when I began focusing on building my body and mindset, I noticed how motivation fluctuated—sometimes I was tired, sad, or unmotivated. Yet, inspired by mottos like “Do it for you” and “Do it motivated” from motivational clips, I pushed through these phases. Embracing vulnerability has been a key step. Opening up about struggles, rather than masking them, fostered deeper self-understanding and resilience. It’s important to realize that motivation isn’t constant; it cycles through many emotional states such as being mad, lazy, or broke. Accepting these feelings without judgment helps maintain momentum. Ultimately, building yourself up is not about negating your past or current feelings but about nurturing growth with compassion. Change is a process—one where you outgrow who you were and step into the person you aspire to be, fueled by personal motivation, authenticity, and self-love.
