Ear piercing placement inspo

I have 10 piercings total!!! I used to be SO scared of piercing my ears but one day I decided to get 5 at once 😅 i get questions all the time so here is a breakdown of all my earrings and the placements:

LEFT EAR:

1. 1st lobe

2. 2nd lobe (upper lobe)

3. 3rd lobe (upper lobe)

4. flat (can get infected easily)

5. forward helix (not as painful as others)

RIGHT EAR:

6. 1st lobe

7. 2nd lobe (upper lobe)

8. 3rd lobe (upper lobe)

9. rook (hurt the most)

10. helix (aka cartilage)

The piercer said lobes usually take 6 months to heal and anything on the cartilage takes 1+ year! Story time: I got 5 piercings at once in Korea bc I wanted to get em before I flew back to America but do NOT recommend getting piercings on both ears at once - couldn't sleep that night 😂

Anyway here's some inspo for you if you're thinking of getting more piercings 🫶🏼

Popular options include the classic lobe piercings, often chosen for their quick healing and versatility with earrings. Cartilage piercings, like the helix and rook, provide a bolder aesthetic but require more time to heal, typically from 6 months to over a year. The forward helix, a trending choice, allows for creative jewelry combinations that can enhance your unique style. As you consider adding to your collection, it's essential to research suitable jewelry materials to minimize the risk of infection. Consult with a professional piercer for personalized advice on placement, healing process, and aftercare. Trends like curated ear styles have encouraged many to mix and match different earrings, which can reflect personal style through vintage, modern, or whimsical designs. Always follow proper aftercare to ensure optimal healing and prevent complications. Whether you’re looking to achieve a minimalistic vibe or a more extravagant look, the world of ear piercing offers endless possibilities to express your individuality. Finding inspiration from social media platforms can guide your decisions on placement and jewelry selection. Embrace the process and have fun showcasing your unique ear art!
