"The Body Keeps the Score" by Van der Kolk is a book about how trauma affects both our bodies and minds

It explains how experiences like abuse or violence can change the brain and cause physical problems

The book also talks about different ways people can heal from trauma, like therapy and exercises, showing that recovery is possible

I started this book in 2023 and didn't end up finishing it but I'm considering giving it another go in 2024!
