my piercing setup ✨
ok to tell the truth getting the piercing done doesn’t hurt! the only ones that really hurt to me was my industrial and tongue 😓. other then that none of them cause me a lot of pain.

the healing process for the industrial is the worse!! i’ve had it for abt 6 months now and it still acts up if i sleep on it or if it gets hit. the healing for my tongue was also sucky 😓. it was hard to eat for the first 4 days and i also had a lisp but its been over a week and i feel like ive had it for years. honestly one of the fastest healing piercings.

Getting a piercing can be a thrilling experience, and understanding the pain levels associated with different types is crucial. In my experience, the industrial and tongue piercings were the most painful, with ratings of 8/10 and 6/10 respectively. On the other hand, earlobe and nostril piercings were virtually painless, rating 0/10. The healing process varies significantly depending on the piercing location. For example, my industrial piercing has been quite troublesome, still reacting negatively after six months. It’s sensitive while sleeping, which has made me mindful of how I rest. In contrast, the tongue piercing was challenging initially but surprisingly healed quickly, becoming comfortable within a week. This variation in healing speed is an important factor to consider when choosing a piercing. Individuals often ask about aftercare, which plays a vital role in the healing process. It’s essential to keep piercings clean and follow care instructions provided by your piercer. Additionally, watching what you eat can be vital, especially for oral piercings, as certain foods can exacerbate pain and irritation. For anyone considering piercings, knowing the pain levels and healing challenges can be incredibly beneficial in making informed decisions.

i have an industrial too! i feel like it’s still not 100% healed and i’ve had it for almost 3yrs😭.. but i would accidentally hit it and sleep on it and wearing glasses doesn’t help either lol
