Toddler snacks + meals they’ll actually eat!
I usually aim for 2 good balanced meals and 1 freebie meal a day (not including snacks).
Breakfast - protein pancakes are an easy way to start their morning with a protein filled breakfast. They also love a variety of fruit.
Lunch - this is typically my freebie meal, choose what you want whether it’s dino nuggets, frozen pizza, but lately peanut butter & jelly has been a daily request. I like to switch up the sides, add in some fruit and a treat (choc chips, Nutella, cookies, chips, etc)
Snack - sometimes before lunch sometimes after. Again lots of fruit, but it can also look like yogurt, granola bar, protein bar, smoothies, just depending on the day!
Dinner - this turned out to be a freebie dinner day. Our usual meal is some kind of rice + protein bowl with mixed veggies, but this day was home made pizza. I used a tortilla, added pizza sauce, cheese, and baked at 400 degrees for 8 mins. It was so yummy!
We don’t always have perfect days. We don’t always have 3 meals. But we do our best everyday. Also the cookie cutters and shaped foods help make them more fun and appealing!

Feeding toddlers can be a challenge, but with the right approach, mealtime can be a breeze. Incorporating a variety of nutritious and appealing foods is crucial. For breakfast, protein pancakes can be paired with fresh fruits like bananas and berries, adding color and excitement to the meal. Lunchtimes can be flexible. Offer favorites such as peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, but consider rotating in healthier options like vegetable sticks or whole-grain wraps. Mixing in fruits can introduce a sweet touch, and occasional treats can make them feel special without compromising on nutrition. Snacks are all about balance. Easy-to-prepare options include yogurt topped with granola, smoothies packed with fruits and spinach, or whole-grain granola bars. These snacks can be great for energy between meals. Dinner can be both fun and nutritious. Creating a make-your-own pizza night using whole wheat tortillas allows kids to get creative with toppings like vegetables and lean proteins. Remember, the presentation matters—using cookie cutters or decorative plates can make the meals visually appealing, increasing the chances that kids will eat them! Finally, it's important to maintain a positive atmosphere during meals, encouraging exploration and enjoyment of new flavors.

So cute 🥰
