Belly tattoo as first tattoo?

I want to get a belly tattoo but is it weird to have it as my first/ only tattoo? I really want bunnies on both sides of my belly button to cover my stretch marks and represent what they gave me. How is the pain in the area? I’ve had my nipples pierced and will be getting my lip done this weekend

Many people opt for designs that reflect personal stories, such as cute bunnies in your case, which can offer a sense of connection and joy. Understanding the pain level is crucial; although pain varies from person to person, the belly area can be sensitive due to the skin's proximity to nerves and bones. It's advisable to consult with a tattoo artist who can provide insights based on your body type and design. Furthermore, it's important to consider the aftercare for your tattoo, as the belly can be a tricky area to heal. Keeping the tattoo clean, moisturized, and protected from sunlight will ensure optimal healing. Before going forward, you might want to look into how getting a tattoo can affect your body image and share experiences with others who have ventured into belly tattoos, making sure your decision feels right for you.

The truth is maybe you don’t want other tattoos tbh pain tolerance isn’t something u should take into consideration bc a lot in life hurts and is unavoidable, I think u should get what you want were u want instead of filling other places of your body u may have not wanted tatted the pain is temporary im glad I didn’t get arm tattoos like everyone else starting bc it’s not what I wanted I wanted my spine and my feet so that’s what I got done and it’s permanent I would hate having something I did based on other people suggestions on my body
