This art will make you cool🕶️ I don’t make the rule

Hi! My name is Bri! I’m a fulltime artist, selling primarily at markets and wholesale, but I OFFICIALLY launched my online shop this week! Here are some things I sell, and some tips below for artists wanting to do the same!

What I sell:

✨ Stickers

✨Greeting Cards

✨ Bookmarks

✨Magnets

✨Journals

✨Bumper Stickers

✨I’m also transitioning earrings, pins, plant pots & hair clips into my shop!

Some tips:

✨Invest in your supplies! If you want to know what supplies I use, I’m always open to share!

✨Be creative with your booth - all of my booth is built myself or thrifted.

✨DO NOT make something just because it will sell. If you are going to turn art into your business, you HAVE to love what you’re making. Trust me, I sell FAR MORE than I used too, because I stopped making art that I thought would sell.

✨Be organized from the very beginning, you will thank yourself when you grow.

✨Open a business bank account, even if you plan to stay a sole proprietor.

It's crucial to diversify your product offerings—stickers, greeting cards, and earring designs are just a few options artists can explore for their shops. Start with quality supplies to create art pieces that resonate with your personal style. Building an eye-catching booth at markets can help showcase your creativity and attract customers. Remember that authenticity is key: avoid creating solely for profit. Focus on what you love making, as this passion often translates into increased sales. Managing your business wisely from the outset, such as setting up a dedicated bank account, will pave the way for future growth and organization. Additionally, consider engaging with your audience through social media, where you can share your artistic process and connect with fellow art enthusiasts. This not only builds a community around your brand but also drives traffic to your online shop. Embrace continual learning in both art and business practices; allow your experiences to shape your journey as an artist entrepreneur in the evolving marketplace.
