Unbigging my back all 2024…. literally 😭

I’ve always been a plus size girl for majority of my life, and I have tried and lost weight in the past but gained it all back… but this time I’m doing this for me. This time I’m doing this for the little 4 year old girl who heard your words “fat girl” for the first time and from that moment forward those words echoed in her subconscious for decades.

My weight has kept me bound, it has effected my life in numerous of ways from my social life, my personal

Life, etc. In social settings I feel uncomfortable, nervous and anxious. I assume everyone is thinking what I’m thinking about myself which is “fat girl”. I haven’t been the nicest to myself when it comes to words and the things I say to myself, but I’m starting to.

My weight has kept me prisoner for a long time but not anymore.

Welcome to my Diary and the Life of T. Louise just navigating life and discovering who I am with a new profound understanding of my purpose and joy.

... Read moreIn today's society, the topic of body image and weight loss is more relevant than ever. Many individuals, especially women, face immense pressure to conform to certain beauty standards. Understanding that self-acceptance comes before any physical change is crucial. As a plus-size person, it’s vital to cultivate a positive relationship with your body, focusing not just on weight loss but on overall wellness. This means prioritizing mental health, engaging in physical activities that bring joy rather than just aiming for a number on the scale, and surrounding oneself with supportive communities. Additionally, social media plays a significant role in shaping perceptions of beauty and health. It’s important to curate your feed with positive, body-positive content that inspires and uplifts. Engaging with hashtags like #healthylifestyle2024 and #weightlossmotivation can lead to finding like-minded individuals who are on similar journeys. Sharing experiences, challenges, and victories within these communities fosters a sense of belonging and motivates others. Remember, every body is unique, and the journey is personal. Celebrate small victories, recognize the societal pressures, and advocate for yourself and your needs. In embracing your vulnerability, you inspire others to follow suit, creating a ripple effect of self-love and acceptance. Together, let’s redefine what it means to live a healthy lifestyle in 2024!
