Taylor Swift Lover Themed Party Inspo 💞
CALLING ALL ‘LOVER’ LOVERS! 💞🎶 In honor of the TTPD coming out in mere HOURS… I wanted to throw it back to “Lover” release night and share how we threw a party based on the Taylor Swift album that derived from rainbows, pastels, and LOVE! 💘 (or so we thought 👀)
This is your sign to throw a Taylor Swift themed party! As we all know, “It’s Nice to Have A Friend” - so why not have a party to celebrate life (and Taylor Swift) together? Whether you’re going through a “Cruel Summer” (or a “Forever Winter”) Lover party can be held at any time of year.
To really set the scene, you’re going to want to get some colorful party decor. Amazon and Target will be your best friends in this case. Look for some pastel silverware, plates, and table cloths to brighten up the space. For decorations, you can hang some colorful streamers or “Paper Rings” from the ceiling!
My favorite part of the party, though, was our photo wall! We painted glitter hearts around each other’s eyes just like Taylor on the album cover (with the Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Gel) and then took some pictures in front of our Lover photo wall! (polaroid cameras are optional but encouraged 😉)
I know you’re probably at the point where you’re thinking “okay Jess, ‘You Need to Calm Down’ this is getting pretty extra”... but the party doesn’t stop there! We also made Lover themed cookies and heart shaped rice krispie treats that matched the theme. For drinks, we found wines that were light blue, pink, and yellow which totally followed the aesthetic.
All I know is that when “Daylight” hits, no one is going to be saying “I Forgot That You Existed” because this party will be remembered for years to come! You will thank “ME!” later. 😇
