😭cant apply eyeliner properly, any advice?

I still can't apply eyeliner properly😫. Is there any good way?

I heard that applying eyeliner with a pencil is harder than doing it with an eyeliner brush with a gel eyeliner. I wonder if it's true or is there a better way? I'm looking for a thin and basic wing.

I've tried different methods and products, but I still struggle with it. I really want to master this skill, but I feel so frustrated. Can anyone give me some tips or advice?

Each has its pros and cons. For those just starting, gel eyeliners often provide a more forgiving application, allowing for easy blending. Start by prepping your eyelids with a primer to create a smooth base and help your eyeliner last longer. When applying, try using a small brush for gel eyeliners or a felt-tip for liquid ones, as they offer better control. When aiming for a wing, it can be helpful to use tape or a stencil to ensure symmetry and precision. Practice is key; don't be discouraged by initial challenges. Additionally, watching tutorial videos can provide visual guidance to benchmark your progress. Remember, makeup is an art form, and practice will lead to improvement. Don't hesitate to experiment with different techniques to find the one that works best for you!

I've seen people with this same eye shape start at the outer ends of the eyes (not the inner corners) by starting with a small slant upwards from the edge of the eye. Then you fill it in with the eyes open so you can see how much to add! Less is more, and you can always build it up with more if need be
