AITAH?
AITAH for being to harsh in a conversation that i thought was joking at first?
context:
so pretty much i was talking with my friend and i called him out for being a nerd as a joke and he jokingly replied with mocking me for wanting to be a marine biologist and said i had bad grades in the first slide and at the time i had all good grades and one D+ and one C+ but i don’t think that’s horrible plus i only had a D in social studies which was hard but besides the point. so he was calling me out for “having all f’s” and saying i didn’t know what college was because i didn’t realize what i needed to get into college (as in gpa’s and sat’s) and i started joking saying “red flags” of him ‼️AS A JOKE‼️ and he had earlier said that i didn’t know how to use punctuation and he had said “ i haven’t done anyone of those” (clearly having a wrong punctuation) and i say “not ‘anyone’ it’s ‘any one’” and he was talking about my soccer skills after i corrected him and i got frustrated because it was quite offensive because of him saying he’s “overall better” and i had been playing for five years at LEAST and i play soccer with him every once and a while and i play very competitively. and i was talking about the team i play for and he says “just because you play for a good team doesn’t mean your good” and then he says he only laughs at my jokes because im the only one he can hang out with and i get frustrated by that because obviously that’s frustrating and i got pissed. he won’t read my text but he is with his cousin so i understand but he has said that i act overweight and other offensive things earlier in the year. i couldn’t tell if he was joking in this or that argument and i am confused and still frustrated
