Great for Hiking！

On the first day, departing from Chicago, we headed north towards Milwaukee. Although we missed Kitch-iti-kipi, we found a pleasant surprise at Comfort Inn by the shores of Lake Superior. In the evening, we savored the unique fig pig pizza at Cooking Carberryswood Fired Pizza, adding a flavorful adventure to the first day’s journey.

On the second day, embarking on an adventure in northern Michigan, we visited Pictured Rock, Sable Fall, and Mackinac Island. Pictured Rock showcased the autumn ambiance, and Mackinac Island resembled a vast park, radiating tranquility and beauty. Trying a lilac latte on the island was a distinctive experience. While the selection of fridge magnets was a bit regrettable, it became a unique memory of the trip.

The third day was spent exploring Sleeping Bear Dunes and Grand Haven Park. After climbing sand dunes, Grand Haven Park revealed breathtaking scenery, creating a serene atmosphere. Purchasing a Michigan mug at Starbucks marked a delightful conclusion to this journey through Northern Michigan. On the fourth day, consider heading to Traverse City, a beach town in Northern Michigan. Enjoy the scenic lakeside views along the way and explore the beautiful parks and unique shops in the city center. In the evening, savor some local seafood or try the delightful white wine-infused salmon stew.

For the fifth day, venture to the port city of Muskegon in Northern Michigan. Explore the picturesque harbor and docks, perhaps opting for a boat tour to appreciate the scenic beauty on the lake. Learn more about the fascinating culture and history at local art galleries or history museums.
