MY BUNNY TURNS 5 TODAY 🥳🎂

It's hard to believe it's been five whole years since I first brought my sweet bunny home! Some people even bake their own bunny-safe 'cakes' using mashed banana and oats! Beyond food, I love to spoil her with new enrichment. Bunnies are incredibly intelligent and need mental stimulation. For her birthday, I got her a new puzzle feeder and filled it with some of her favorite hay and a few hidden treats. Watching her figure it out always brings a smile to my face. I also set up a fresh new cardboard castle – she absolutely loves tearing those apart, and it’s great for her teeth and natural instincts. Tunnels and digging boxes (filled with shredded paper or hay) are also fantastic birthday gifts that encourage natural behaviors and keep them entertained for hours. Another essential part of our celebration is extra quality time. Bunnies thrive on companionship, and on her birthday, I make sure to spend extra time just sitting with her, offering gentle pets, and letting her binky around freely in her supervised play area. We even had a mini 'photo shoot' with a few bunny-safe decorations like a small, non-toxic paper banner (placed well out of chewing reach, of course!). Getting those cute birthday pictures is always a challenge but so worth it for the memories. It's not just about the one day, though. Celebrating her birthday reminds me of all the love and happiness she's brought into my life. From her playful hops to her quiet cuddles, every moment with her is precious.
