Sneak peek into my next Bible journaling series

We all love and adore Winnie the Pooh and friends. The lovable, relatable characters all have some sort of special place in our hearts. Some characters we may feel a certain attraction or closeness too but why is that? These children’s fiction characters are also excellent representations of what different mental illnesses and struggles can look like. It can be stated that each of the main characters resemble a mental illness.

I’m hoping to make a bible journal page (along with drawings) for most of these mental illnesses over the next few months… if anyone wants to join in I would be thrilled! And don’t forget to tag me because I’d love to see your work! Happy journaling!!

... Read moreIncorporating beloved characters like Winnie the Pooh into Bible journaling not only provides a personal connection but also sheds light on mental health themes that resonate with many. Each character offers a unique perspective on emotional struggles—whether it's Pooh’s simple but profound nature representing contentment or Eeyore's gloom showcasing depression. When creating your bible journaling pages, consider utilizing relevant scripture that aligns with each character’s experiences. For instance, Isaiah 43:4 emphasizes our uniqueness by stating, 'I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.' This can provide affirmation for those addressing self-worth, a common mental health topic. Engaging in artistic expression, like drawing or doodling characters alongside scripture, not only enhances your journaling practice but also serves as a therapeutic outlet. Additionally, inviting others to join this project can foster community support and discussion around these important themes, emphasizing that no one is alone in their journey. Remember to tag your creations! Showcasing your work encourages connection and creativity within the community. Let’s bring awareness to mental health while celebrating our love for these iconic characters. Happy journaling and drawing!
