girl in pieces was an amazing book, i will say though it does have trigger warnings so if you’re someone who gets triggered easily i do not recommend.
icebreaker was overall a fantastic book it was a little boring at the beginning but about half way through it started picking up and i ended up finishing it so quick.
Okay, so after gushing about 'Icebreaker' and 'Girl in Pieces,' I got thinking about another one of my favorite topics: romance books that just have to be movies! You know that feeling, right? Lately, I've been obsessed with how many fantastic romance novels are getting the movie or TV series treatment, and honestly, we love to see it! Think about 'To All the Boys I've Loved Before' – totally captured the charm of the books. Or 'Red, White & Royal Blue' – that one was a huge hit and brought a beloved enemies-to-lovers story to life for so many more people. Even 'The Kissing Booth' series, while not always perfect, introduced so many to the world of YA romance adaptations. These movies often bring out new details or visual flair that you might have only imagined in your head, and it's a joy to experience. It makes me wonder which other books are next in line. Speaking of, if 'Icebreaker' isn't on a production company's radar yet, it absolutely should be! Imagine the visuals: the competitive energy of the ice rink, the intense chemistry between an ice skater and a hockey player, all those spicy moments heating up the screen! Hannah Grace created such a vivid world, from the banter to the emotional depth, that it practically writes its own screenplay. It has all the elements for a smash-hit sports romance movie: rivals, passion, a great supporting cast, and plenty of drama. I can already picture the casting! And while 'Girl in Pieces' isn't a traditional romance, it's such a raw, powerful story that would translate incredibly well to film. The emotional intensity, the journey of healing, the beautiful and heartbreaking moments – it would be a deeply moving and important film, much like 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower' or 'Speak.' It tackles tough themes with such grace, and a sensitive adaptation could really resonate. So, for all my fellow bookworms who also adore movies, keep an eye out for these gems. And if you're looking for your next movie-worthy romance read, 'Icebreaker' is definitely one to pick up.
