Birthday Week 🎂!!

My birthday was last week and I spent it doing the things I love 🥳! I went to Disney, did pilates, and ran a half marathon 🏃🏽‍♀️! It has been a great birthday month 🎈!

If anyone would like to give a little something for my birthday, I am running the Syndey marathon for a great charity, Home Base 🇺🇲. They are dedicated to healing the invisible wounds of war for veterans and their families. Any little bit helps and is greatly appreciated!

Link is in my bio 🙏🏽.

Incorporating Pilates into my routine not only helped me stay physically active but also brought a calm focus that prepared me mentally for the half marathon. Pilates can be a fantastic way to build core strength and improve flexibility, which are key for runners. Running the half marathon as part of my birthday celebrations gave me a profound sense of accomplishment. Training for long-distance runs requires commitment and consistency, but crossing that finish line is incredibly rewarding. It’s also a great way to set meaningful goals around celebrations, turning them into milestones. Visiting Disney added a touch of magic and joy that complemented the physical challenges perfectly. A day filled with fun and relaxation is essential for balance, especially during such an eventful month. One of the most meaningful parts of this birthday was dedicating my run to Home Base, a charity focused on healing invisible wounds of war for veterans and their families. Supporting a cause close to your heart adds purpose to personal achievements. If you’re inspired to give back, even small donations can make a big difference in the lives of those who have sacrificed so much. If you’re considering running a marathon or half marathon, I recommend gradually building your mileage and incorporating strength and flexibility exercises like Pilates. Also, having a cause to run for enhances motivation and gives your training deeper significance. Lastly, don’t forget to reward yourself with joyful experiences, whether it’s a trip to Disney or another activity that brings you happiness. This blend of fitness, charity, and celebration made my birthday week truly special, and I hope it inspires you to create your own meaningful celebrations.
