Are these nails good for my first set? (Any tips?)

2/2 Edited to

... Read moreChoosing your first nail set can be exciting but also a little overwhelming. When I got my first set, I realized it was important to consider both style and practicality. For beginners, I recommend starting with medium-length nails that aren’t too sharp or fragile. This helps prevent accidental breaks as you get used to the feel. Also, the shape of your nails makes a difference — almond or rounded shapes tend to be more durable and less prone to chipping compared to very pointed or square shapes. It’s a good idea to communicate with your nail technician about your daily activities so they can customize the nails accordingly. Maintenance tips are essential too. Regular moisturizing of your cuticles and careful handling of your nails help prolong the lifespan of your nail set. Avoid using your nails as tools, and wear gloves when doing household chores to protect them. Lastly, your first set is a great time to experiment with colors and designs that reflect your personality, but keeping it simple can also be beautiful and low maintenance. Remember, the key is to enjoy the process and learn what suits you best as you go along.
