God is so good!!

I truly believe that speaking negativity about ourselves or our circumstances is like building a wall around our own potential. It wasn't a punishment, but a protection – preventing his doubt from derailing God's perfect plan. The OCR also powerfully stated, "your tongue is like a snare; words you speak are a trap." It teaches me that our words have immense power, not just over others, but over our own spirit and future. So, how do we combat this? For me, it starts with conscious effort and a lot of faith. When I catch myself thinking or saying something negative about my abilities or my situation, I try to pause and reframe it. Instead of "I can't do this," I'll try "I will learn how to do this with God's help." It's about shifting from a place of fear to a place of faith and possibility. As the OCR encouraged, "don't speak negativity on yourself and life and see what plans He has for you come to life!!" Another thing that has been incredibly helpful is surrounding myself with positivity, both in people and in what I consume. Reading encouraging words, listening to uplifting music, and spending time with friends who speak life into me makes a huge difference. The community aspect mentioned in the original post – "We are all here to lean on" – is so true. Sharing struggles and triumphs with others who understand and offer support can be a huge source of strength and stress relief. Knowing you're not alone in your journey can lighten the heaviest burdens. Trusting in God's plans, especially when our own plans seem to crumble, is another cornerstone. It's not always easy to see the bigger picture, but holding onto the belief that He always comes through, even if it's not on our timeline, brings immense peace. Like Zechariah, sometimes we just need to be silent and trust the process, allowing God's perfect timing to unfold. This kind of surrender can significantly reduce the stress and anxiety that often accompany goal-setting and navigating life's uncertainties. This year, let's make a pact to be intentional with our words and thoughts. Let's speak life, declare blessings, and trust that 2025 will be filled with breakthroughs we've been praying so hard for. Remember, you are amazing, you are strong, and you are WORTHY of all the good things God has in store for you. Keep your eyes on Him, and watch His plans come to life!
