SAVE FOR YOUR FIRST HOME!!! 🏡

Me and my boyfriend moved into our first home a year and a half ago and let me tell you I wish I had made a list!! I’m very thankful for all the help we got during this time because it was a very long process but well worth it! I’m still working on styling our home but I’ve just been super busy and haven’t really had the time to do so.

We found that we had a lot of the bedroom basics and overall household basics, however we made lots of runs to the store for paper products and cleaning supplies. If you have room to store some of these items, I highly recommend doing this as it will save you a lot of time and money in the long run getting started out.

We thrifted the rest of the furniture in the house and refinished it to match our home better, and was a very fun task to do together (the kitchen table is still in progress and I don’t wanna talk about it 😂).

These are the minimal basics to get you through the first month or so and after a month you get a feel for things that would be more essential and what designs and aesthetics works best for your space.
