Toxin Free Swaps That Will Save You Money

These are swaps I have made and end up saving me money each month. When being conscious of what you consume and are exposed to, the first thing you might notice is products can be more costly. Switch product out one by one, and do your research on each one so you know what you are buying and can make swaps that will actually be cost effective.

I've been on this healthy and toxin free journey foe almost 8 years now, so I've made a lot of bad purchases. I've basically learned from my mistakes and found brands I love and trust by trial and error.

I didn't put this in there, but for the cleaners and soaps, these can all be made at home and cheap. I still buy concentrated soap and cleaner but now consume way less because I usually use my homemade cleaners. Soap is still hard to come by at bulk and affordable prices but I'm working on it, we actually made our first batches of handmade soap just a few weeks ago.

No matter when you start your journey or whatever pace your journey may be at, just know I'm proud of you!

... Read moreMaking the transition to a toxin-free lifestyle doesn't have to break the bank. It’s possible to use everyday items that are both healthy and affordable. For example, reusable bamboo makeup wipes can replace conventional cotton pads, saving you money in the long run. Instead of buying almond milk with additives, why not create your own using just a few almonds and some water? This homemade option is not only healthier but also more cost-effective than store-bought varieties. Additionally, consider making your cleaners at home using concentrated ingredients that reduce waste and packaging costs. There are numerous recipes available online to guide you through making everything from all-purpose cleaners to laundry detergent. The focus on sustainability is not just about reducing toxins, but also about embracing a lifestyle that minimizes environmental impact. Lastly, don’t underestimate the satisfaction that comes from growing your own herbs or vegetables at home, which can significantly lower your grocery bills and ensure that what you consume is free from harmful chemicals. Remember, even small changes can lead to substantial savings and a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle.
