Synopsis

The story begins with a legend told by an old man of the solid love between a noble Xian and a nine-tailed fox who would break through the plaque for each other, but in the real world on the paradise turned to tragedy when a cold and strict young Chen Le Xian was sentenced to go down to the human world to face the plaque alone.

Jin Zhao, a nine-tailed fox with amber eyes and a pure white hair house, Chen Le's only friend in heaven, could not bear to watch him face a cruel fate. She decided to argue boldly against the judgment of heaven, even though she herself had little life expectancy, and would be extinguished if she could not find "true love" before the time of the last judgment.

The Celestial Judge then makes an offer for her to go down to the human world to find Chen Le and her own true love. Jin Zhao is a majestic human woman in a light blue dress, carrying a sword and a magic jade flute down to a world she is not familiar with. There she meets Ting Ting, a cheerful human woman, and Zwi Tu, a mysterious man who should be strategic. Both volunteered to guide her into a tavern in Jinling City to begin her investigation.

Amid the tide of power and usurpation in the world, Jin Zhao must hide his true identity by searching for Chen Le, the one-loved man she seeks, unaware that this battle may shake to the foundation of heaven and judge her heart forever.
