BABY LEARNED HOW TO HOLD HANDS
I love being a babysitter because I am part of the baby life, I am babysitting baby A and he just learned how to hold things, to sit and something that I call “survival instincts” because now he holds from my neck or hold my arm so he doesn’t fall.
He just turned 5, he started solids *BY PEDIATRICIAN REQUEST* and is getting 2 teeth 😩
Always talk to your pediatrician, every baby is different.
As babies grow, they reach various developmental milestones that are essential for their motor skills and social interactions. Holding hands is a significant step in building trust and affection between the baby and their caregiver. At the age of five months, babies typically begin to show increased interest in their surroundings and may develop what parents describe as 'survival instincts'. These instincts often manifest as the baby reaching for objects or people for support, signaling a need for security and stability. Parents and caregivers should note that every child is unique; therefore, it's crucial to monitor development closely and consult with a pediatrician regarding feeding and developmental practices. Starting solids, like our example of Baby A who began solids per pediatrician guidelines, often occurs around six months but may vary for each infant. Meanwhile, parents can look forward to the arrival of new teeth, which is not only an exciting development but also a sign that the baby is ready for more varied foods. Always remember to celebrate these milestones while ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the baby to thrive.
