Facial eczema flare up. Heal my face NC edition
Y’all I need help my face has been usual great but I’m in a new state and my skin is really sensitive. I have eczema. Not long ago I finally found a dermatologist that cleared my situation up from head to toes literally. This is my flare up routine for what I have at my fingertips. I can’t find my aquaphor anywhere my daughter uses it for her lips mostly so don’t ask. This is for my pm as I did a little research but people let me know if I am using everything in the right order or if I need to nix anything. I’m thinking about doing a homemade body butter soon. But tell me if my usage order is correct please.#eczemaproblems #eczema #for eczema prone skin #eczemawareness #eczemasolutions North Carolina
Eczema can be a challenging condition, especially when moving to a new environment. Skin sensitivity often increases due to changes in climate and allergens. To effectively manage your eczema, consider incorporating hypoallergenic products into your routine. Essential steps include using gentle cleansers that do not strip natural oils, and moisturizing frequently with occlusives like petrolatum and creams that contain ceramides to restore skin barrier function. In North Carolina, seasonal changes can exacerbate skin issues, so it's important to adjust your skincare based on humidity and temperature. Look for products rich in anti-inflammatory ingredients such as colloidal oatmeal or aloe vera. Additionally, maintaining a consistent skincare regimen, minimizing exposure to irritants, and staying hydrated can contribute to overall skin health. Be sure to consult with your dermatologist about incorporating treatments like hydrocortisone for flare-ups and explore targeted solutions like Dermasil or La Roche-Posay products, both known for their efficacy in treating eczema-prone skin. Sharing experiences within the eczema community can also provide support and additional tips tailored to your specific needs.
