Weakness is a part of the journey because life doesn’t permit us to be strong all the time.
There’s betrayal, circumstances, waves of news, unexpected changes, disappointments, change, battle fatigue, etc. By reason, nobody can be strong 365 days of the year. God understood this because even Prophet Elijah, a bold prophet had a weak moment. 1 Kings 19: 1-4
Culture likes to tell people don’t show their weakness from experiences, but when you’re a child of God you’re allowed to be weak in the presence of the Beloved. People don’t have all the answers, but God is ancient and he knows.
If you’re feeling weak, go to God. You don’t have to pray sophisticated prayers. Just tell him where the thorn is, thank him for all he has done and eat, drink, and hope again just like Hannah and David did. Find some scriptures for hard times! Worship with songs and be strengthened in your spirit.
