How I deal with Anxiety (Grieving & Healing)

I have dealt with extreme anxiety most my life. After losing my daughters father when she was 4 My anxiety spiked an all time high and the only time I feel at ease is when I practise these 4 things!

Yoga & Meditation: Promotes relaxation

Challenge Negative Thoughts: Replace the racing thoughts and bad thoughts with happy and progressive thoughts

Sleep & Relaxation: Maintaining a healthy lifestyle and ensuring you receive adequate sleep

Balanced Diet: Eating a healthy diet supports academic ability, athletic performance and mental health

... Read moreDealing with anxiety can be particularly challenging during times of grief. To support your mental health, incorporating yoga and meditation into your routine can provide relaxation and mindfulness. These practices help to center your thoughts, allowing you to cultivate serenity amid turmoil. In addition to these methods, challenging negative thoughts is crucial. When anxiety strikes, actively replacing distressing thoughts with positive affirmations can dramatically shift your mindset. Journaling or talking to a supportive friend can also facilitate this process. Moreover, never underestimate the power of sleep and relaxation. Ensuring you have a regular sleep schedule not only benefits your body but is vital for mental clarity. Consider establishing a calming bedtime routine to promote better sleep quality. Finally, maintaining a balanced diet contributes significantly to your overall wellbeing. Incorporate brain-boosting foods like fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. These choices not only enhance physical health but also support emotional resilience. Remember that navigating anxiety takes time and effort, but these strategies can pave the way towards healing.

Grieving the loss of someone who’s still alive
Losing someone important to you due to their own choices can be one of the most difficult experiences any human could endure. The sheer part of letting go is the hardest. Why would you let go of someone that’s still there? Doesn’t that show YOU’VE given up? Or maybe you agree to the choice as well?

Grieving the Healthier Version of Yourself is a Different Kind of Pain ❤️‍🩹✨

You think you’re ANGRY. But you’re grieving 🤔
Underneath anger… there’s always grief. And no one ever taught you how to tell the difference. You weren’t “too emotional.” You were grieving. And no one noticed. They said you had “anger issues.” But no one ever asked what your rage was protecting. No one ever saw the child in the fire.
