Lisa Frankenstein Cosplay 🖤✨

Hey everyone! So excited to finally share some behind-the-scenes magic for my Lisa Frankenstein cosplay. When I first saw the movie, I knew I had to bring her unique style to life. It’s such a fresh take on the classic Bride of Frankenstein, blending gothic romance with modern quirkiness. If you're looking to create your own unforgettable Bride of Frankenstein costume, this is for you! The centerpiece of any Bride of Frankenstein costume, whether classic or Lisa-inspired, is the dress! For Lisa, I aimed for a vintage prom queen vibe with a slightly tattered edge. My best tip? Hit up your local thrift stores or vintage shops. You’d be surprised what gems you can find. Look for a formal gown, ideally in white, cream, or a pastel, that you’re not afraid to modify. Think big skirts, puffy sleeves, or even some lace details. I found mine and then carefully added some rips and stains to give it that 'brought back to life' feel. Don't be afraid to distress it a bit – that's part of the charm! Next up, the iconic hair and makeup! This is where the 'Bride of Frankenstein' really shines. For the hair, Lisa’s look is a fantastic, wild interpretation of the classic. If you have long hair, you can try backcombing and using a lot of hairspray to get that towering, stitched effect. For a more dramatic or easier route, a good quality wig is your friend. You can even sew on some black yarn for the stitches! For makeup, think pale, almost ghostly skin. A good light foundation or stage makeup is key. Then, focus on dramatic, dark eyes – heavy liner and dark eyeshadow. And of course, the stitches! I used liquid eyeliner and a fine brush to draw on realistic-looking stitches around my neck and face. Don't forget some dark lipstick or even a slight bruise effect around the eyes for that 'newly awakened' look. To complete the ensemble, don't forget the accessories! Chunky platform boots, opera-length gloves, and maybe even a vintage clutch can really pull the Lisa Frankenstein aesthetic together. I found some great faux leather gloves that I felt gave it an edgy touch. And speaking of couple's cosplay, if you're going for a full 'Bride and Monster' duo, your partner could easily create a fantastic Frankenstein's Monster look. Think torn suit, green skin, and a classic flat-top haircut. It’s such a fun theme for parties or conventions, and making it a pair really ups the impact. It's so much fun to coordinate and bring these classic characters to life together! Putting together a Bride of Frankenstein costume, especially with a Lisa Frankenstein twist, is incredibly rewarding. It allows for so much creativity and really stands out.
