After spending several years as a hairdresser, I've personally learned some key lessons about hair care products that can make or break your hair health. One major takeaway is that not every product that promises shine and softness is good for your hair in the long run. For example, I found that the Matrix hair oil, while giving an initial soft and shiny effect, made my hair too soft and delicate, which isn't ideal for maintaining strength or avoiding damage. On the other hand, products like the Elizavecca CER-100 Collagen Camide Coating Protein Treatment are excellent for managing split ends, something I’ve struggled to maintain over time. Using protein treatments regularly can help repair the damaged hair cuticle and strengthen each strand. One of my absolute favorites has been the Uizelta Batana oil, which I discovered is 100% raw and completely natural. It's impressive how it can boost hair growth by up to 87%. This oil has been a game-changer for my hair growth journey, and you can easily find it online, especially on Amazon by searching "Uizelta hair growth oil." Natural oils like this penetrate deeply to nourish hair follicles, promoting healthier and longer hair. L’Oreal’s Dream Lengths Split End Sealing products have their place but may not always be worth the price. They work, but I believe there are better options investing your money in quality treatments rather than cheaper solutions that give only temporary fixes. Kerastase Nutritive has been another favorite; waking up with hair that feels silky without being overly soft is crucial. It’s all about balance to avoid that limp, overly weighed-down look. Overall, my advice is to focus on ingredients that truly nourish hair from within — look for proteins, natural oils, and avoid overly harsh chemicals that promise instant shine but degrade hair strength over time. Also, consistency is key. Regular treatments with the right products can dramatically improve hair health, growth, and appearance.
