How to start working from home!

i recently got my first ever wfh job in september 2024. I can’t lie it was definitely super hard to land one, especially because i had no experience working from home. What i can say is be patient and take your time, it’s not an easy thing to come across. But here is what i did to get my job.

Steps:

1. Think about what type of wfh job you’re looking for ( non-phone, inbound, outbound, etc)

2. Think about if you’re going to need equipment or if you’ll be trying to find a job that supplies equipment

3. Review over your resume and tweak it to align with whatever job you are going to be applying for

4. Join facebook groups. ( I know it sounds ridiculous but there are so many facebook groups that post current listing of work from jobs hiring)

5. Once you join those facebook groups APPLY, APPLY, APPLY. make sure to keep track of what jobs you apply for so you can follow up with them.

It took me months to land my job don’t get discouraged just try to stay positive 🤎

I have been working from home since 2020. I absolutely love it. Now my job is way beyond call center it’s liability claims adjuster which feels so refreshing to be relieved from phone stats now I just have claims handling stats. Good pay great benefits
