私も以前、電車内でのマナー違反に対して注意をした経験があります。例えば、席を占領している人に声をかけたところ、思いがけず冷たい反応を受けたり、時にはトラブルに発展しそうになったこともありました。 正義感から善意で声をかけても、相手の捉え方次第で「お節介」と受け止められることが多いのが現状です。特に、今回の男性のように羽交い締めにされ衣服を破られるほどの身体的なトラブルに発展するケースは稀ですが、警察官でもない一般人が介入することのリスクの高さを感じました。 私はその後は、まず自分の安全を確保しつつ、場合によっては駅員や警察に相談する方法を選ぶようになりました。自分の「偏狭な正義感」だけではなく、社会的なルールや周囲の状況も踏まえた行動が求められると痛感 しています。 同時に、正義感とお節介の境界は非常にあいまいで、善意が必ずしも善意として受け取られない難しさも感じます。現代の多様な価値観や個人の生き方を尊重しつつ、どうすればトラブルを避けつつ周囲に気を配れるのか、これからも考えていきたいテーマです。
