The moment I decided to embark on a Shrek universe cosplay, I knew I was in for a journey. That iconic line, "A sacrifice I'm willing to make," immediately came to mind, and it became my personal mantra throughout the entire process. It wasn't just about throwing on a costume; it was about embodying the spirit of these beloved characters, whether it's the grumpy yet lovable OGRE himself or the comically villainous Lord Farquaad. From specific fabric choices to finding the perfect prosthetics for Shrek's ears or Farquaad's tiny crown, it all added up, both in time and cost.
