How did I perfect it? Easy!!
Here’s everything I did to achieve a satisfactory ID photo:
- I did makeup that complimented my face shape instead of trying to change it
-I pulled back my ears giving me a slight brow & face lift(if you can wiggle your ears pull them back but don’t release them until after the picture is taken)
-Go easy on the powder!!!, I could’ve used a less orange powder honestly
-Practice the face you’re going to make on an inverted screen

When preparing for an ID photo, it's essential to focus on makeup that complements your natural features. Start by analyzing your face shape and selecting a makeup style that enhances your look rather than altering it. For instance, using a minimal yet effective makeup routine can boost your confidence and create a polished appearance. One common mistake people make is using too much powder, which can lead to an overly shiny appearance or an unnatural shade that may not suit your skin tone. Instead, opt for a translucent powder that offers a natural finish. Additionally, practicing facial expressions in front of a mirror (or an inverted camera) can help you find your most flattering angles. You may also want to experiment with pulling back your ears for a subtle lift during the photo; this can enhance your jawline and work wonders on your overall look. Furthermore, don't forget to choose your foundation shade wisely, remembering that the lighting in photo environments can change the appearance of colors. Last but not least, take multiple shots and select the one where you feel most confident. Follow these tips, and you’ll be more than satisfied with your ID photo results!
