Good manners are not just external behavior, but a reflection of the mind being bred with the truth and love of God. The family is therefore the first school of life, that instills respect, civility, and responsibility towards others.
For the Seventh-day Christian Adventist: Etiquette is linked to being a "witness" in the latter days, because the world is watching God's people; we cannot truly evangelize, if our lives and manners do not conform to the word.
Family is the basis of affirming belief in one God, and domestic etiquette reflects respect for the Law.
Family training is the foundation of believers. Good manners are to show obedience to the Creator.
So "manners" is not a small thing, but a reflection of the foundation of belief that will be tested harder in the last days.

In Society: Show Politeness Even to People Who Think Differently, to Reflect the Kindness of Christ
In Church and Ministry: Use Good Manners as a Bridge to Evangelize, Let People Feel God's Love Through Our Posture
In the last days: Live a life that reflects differences, for a world full of violence and disrespect for one another wants to see the example of civility and manners that come from God.
