Title: The life offered to Christ is the life that bears fruit for others.
God calls us not only to live for ourselves, but to give us life, talent, time, and possessions, to make us light to others, and to bring back to Him.
1. Christ calls all to share in the ministry
If all followers of Christ faithfully fulfill their duties,
This world will quickly receive the gospel.
We do not need to wait for great office or charisma to serve God, because God has used those willing to give themselves to him.
"Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven."
- Matthew 5: 16.
2. The ministry begins from around us.
We don't need to travel to distant lands to do Christ's work.
The first mission field is...
Our family.
Our neighbor.
Our church.
The society that God has placed us in.
Every word of encouragement
Every loving rescue.
Every act of mercy.
It can channel others to see the character of Christ.
3. God uses ordinary people to do great works.
Many people think that only the privileged can serve God.
But the doctrine says
God gives everyone a duty, and uses the gift that each person has.
Some may declare the Word.
Some may help others.
Some may be role models of honesty.
But everyone can glorify God.
"Whatever you do, do with all your heart as to the Lord."
- Colossians 3: 23.
4. Serving with love makes life fruitful.
True service is not due to the need for fame.
But born of a heart that loves Christ.
When God's love is in our hearts
Our lives will become the fragrance of Christ.
We may not see immediate results.
But the seed of love that is sown, God makes it grow.
5. True success is to be faithful to God.
God does not measure the greatness of the work by the number of people who see it.
But he looked at the integrity of his heart
A true servant does not do it for praise.
But do because love God
One day Christ will say,
"Well done, you are a good and faithful servant."
- Matthew 25: 21.
Important Thoughts
Life for itself will be wasted.
But the life offered to Christ will become a blessing to others.
We don't need to do great things in the human eye.
Just do the little thing with love and honesty.
God will use that to expand His kingdom.
Challenges for Life
Today, ask yourself...
"How many will know Christ because of my life?"
May all our days be a living witness.
To allow those around us to see Jesus through our words, thoughts, and actions.
"O God, live my life, that others may find you through me." 🙏
