For my girlies that don’t want a smoothie everyday
I am a morning workout girl! I have zero energy to workout in the afternoons so morning it is! With that, after my workouts I need energy! Usually, especially when I’m in a rush, I will make a quick smoothie. WHICH I LOVEEEEE! But sometimes, I need a light, high protein breakfast! Yogurt bowls are my favorite answer to that. As someone who usually hates parfaits, I find that this one is the best. INGREDIENTS:
-1 cut up peach
-25 grams of granola
-170 grams of vanilla greek yogurt
-1 tablespoons to honey
~ 250 cals and 20 grams of protein!
If you're looking for a nutritious breakfast option that doesn't rely on smoothies, yogurt bowls are a fantastic alternative. They are not only versatile but also can be customized to your liking. For instance, you can swap out peaches for your favorite fruits, such as berries or bananas, and add different nuts or seeds for extra crunch. The combination of vanilla Greek yogurt, fruit, honey, and granola provides a balanced meal with healthy fats, protein, and fiber. Nutritionists recommend starting your day with a meal rich in protein as it helps to keep you full longer and supports muscle recovery, especially after a workout. This yogurt bowl is an excellent choice for the health-conscious who want to maintain energy levels throughout the morning. Embracing such light yet nutritious options can also contribute to a balanced diet, supporting overall wellness and fitness goals. Remember, meal prepping your yogurt bowls can save you time in the mornings—simply portion them out the night before and grab one as you head out the door!
