Mentari Kopitiam Batam
My Grab driver recommended Mentari for breakfast, saying it’s where locals usually go, so I decided to give it a try!
I ordered the Bakmi Ori Ayam Jamur and Mie Yamin Ayam Jamur and honestly, they tasted almost the same 😅
Each bowl costs less than SGD3, which is super affordable. Flavor-wise, it was on the saltier side, kind of reminded me of our local bak chor mee but heavier on the MSG.
Would I go back again? Probably not.
But the place was surprisingly packed with locals when I was there, so it’s definitely a popular spot.
