... Read moreJeju Island is filled with more than just well-known tourist destinations; its hidden gems offer truly unique experiences for travelers who want to go beyond the usual spots. For instance, off the beaten path trails along the coast reveal breathtaking ocean views that many overlook. One personal favorite was a small cove where the waves gently kissed the shore and the scenery felt untouched by time. When visiting Jeju, consider exploring places like Sanyang Keunkot, a distinctive photo spot renowned among locals for its natural beauty but often missed by tourists. These lesser-known areas provide a quiet retreat perfect for reflective moments and Instagram-worthy photos. Beyond daytime explorations, Jeju also offers charming nighttime activities. Catching a sunset at one of the island’s best beaches or enjoying a relaxed evening stroll along serene nature paths is an excellent way to add memorable experiences to your trip. For those keen on blending nature with culture, the Jeju Alive Museum offers an interactive art and photo experience, presenting another unique dimension to the island’s attractions. This spot provides a vibrant contrast to the peaceful natural surroundings and is a great choice for a fun-filled day. Ultimately, immersing yourself in these hidden treasures — far from the crowded tourist spots — makes a Jeju visit especially rewarding. Whether it's the soothing ocean breeze, quiet trails, or unique photographic opportunities, Jeju’s lesser-known spots are waiting to surprise and delight you.

Hidden Gems in Jeju’s Old Town
This old town of Jeju somehow feels both nostalgic and new, with its cozy cafes, charming stores and creative corners. It was amazing to meet the many young locals bringing this old city center back to life. I’ve always loved checking out the branding and concepts of stores, especially in Korea,

What to Do in Jeju
It’s my first time in Jeju and here’s what I did! 💕 I came here in Jan 2026 and the temp was around 5-10 degree. The best way to travel around is via a rented car because it gives you so much freedom to move around. Their public buses have quite long intervals and might be inconvenient to visit

Jeju Recommendations no one asked for- Jeju East:
1) Airport Car rental from Orcar at least 30% cheaper than Lotte. 2) Waking up at 430am and taking 1 hour drive to UNESCO “Sunrise Peak” was worth it. Reached at 6am and everyone was already rushing to the top. Read that the climb was about 30min. I may or may not have reached the top in 10min.
