✅ STEPS TO ADD A NEW FOCUS MODE ON IPHONE
1. Open the Settings app.
Tap the “⚙️ Settings” icon on your home screen.
2. Select “Focus.”
It’s located near the “Notifications” and “Display & Brightness” options.
3. Tap the “+” (plus) button in the top right corner.
This will allow you to create a new custom focus mode.
4. Choose a focus type or select “Custom.”
You can choose from options such as:
• Work 📁
• Leisure 🧘♀️
• Sleep 😴
• Custom 🎯 (to set something up from scratch)
5. Give it a name, choose an icon, and choose a color.
This will help you easily identify your new mode.
6. Configure allowed people and apps
Decide who can send you notifications during Focus mode:
• Add important contacts 📞
• Select the apps that can notify you 📲
7. Turn time-sensitive notifications on or off
You can allow certain time-sensitive notifications to arrive even when you're in Focus mode.
8. Customize the Home and Lock screens (optional)
You can hide app pages or display a special screen to help you focus.
9. Choose Focus automation
You can turn it on automatically based on:
• Time of day ⏰
• Location 📍
• Use of a specific app 📱
10. Done! Turn it on from Control Center
Swipe down from the top right corner (on iPhones with Face ID) and tap the Focus icon to quickly turn it on.
