New Nail Color 💅🏽
I’m still doing my own nails and I’m back to painting them too. So when I see a polish I grab it. I love the Pacifica Beauty brand and I’m so happy they have nail polish as well. Just like all of their products the polish is 100% vegan and cruelty free. This color is called 𝐵𝑎𝑏𝑦 𝐷𝑒𝑒𝑟 and I feel like it’s a nice pastel for the spring 🌸🌷

So, I just shared my excitement about Pacifica's 'Baby Deer' polish, and it got me thinking about how much I love giving my nails a complete refresh, not just with color, but with genuine care! When I first started doing my own nails more regularly, I quickly realized that a beautiful color looks even better on healthy, well-cared-for nails. It's not just about the aesthetic; it's about making sure my nails feel strong and nourished too. That's why I'm such a fan of brands like Pacifica Beauty. Knowing their products are 100% Vegan & Cruelty Free really makes a difference to me. It means I'm not putting harsh chemicals on my nails or contributing to animal testing, which is a huge win for both my ethics and my nail health. I've noticed that using polishes free from common toxins can actually make your nails feel stronger and less brittle over time. It's like a mini spa treatment every time I paint them, knowing I'm choosing a kinder option for my body and the planet! Beyond just the polish, giving your nails a true 'refresh' involves a few simple steps I've picked up along the way. First, always start with a good base. Before applying any color, I make sure my nails are clean, dry, and shaped. I love using a gentle nail file (a glass one is my favorite!) to get the perfect shape and then lightly buffing the surface to create a smooth canvas. This really helps the polish go on evenly and last longer, preventing those annoying early chips. Next, cuticle care is a game-changer! Pushing back or gently trimming cuticles can make your nail beds look so much tidier and longer. I use a little cuticle oil every night, even when I'm not doing a full manicure. It keeps them soft and prevents painful hangnails, which is a huge part of feeling 'refreshed' for me. It’s a small step that makes a massive difference in the overall look and health of your nails. And don't forget the base coat! A good base coat protects your natural nails from staining (especially with darker shades!) and gives the color something to adhere to, making your manicure last longer. I've definitely learned this the hard way – skipping it means spending more time cleaning up stained nails later and a shorter-lived polish! After my Pacifica 'Baby Deer' polish, I always seal it with a top coat. This adds shine and an extra layer of protection, preventing chips and extending the life of my beautiful New Nails. For an ultimate refresh, I also make sure to moisturize my hands regularly. Healthy, hydrated hands make your nails pop even more! I keep a hand cream in my bag and on my desk so it's easy to remember. If you're looking to truly refresh nail care at home, consider investing in a few good tools: a quality glass file, a wooden cuticle pusher, a nourishing cuticle oil, and a rich hand cream. These small additions can elevate your at-home manicure experience dramatically. Remember, sometimes a 'refresh' isn't just about a new color, but about establishing a consistent routine that keeps your nails looking and feeling their best. It’s amazing how a little self-care like this can boost your mood and confidence!
