I’m 21 and will be 22 in May (May 14th) and i think year 21 has been such an eye opener!
🤍 My Story: I fell in love, he got deadly sick then i fell sick with heart problems. It was such a scary time and i had no support and through my all into caring and making sure he was okay. We ended up breaking up. One of the most traumatic break ups i ever had but it taught me so much.
🤍 How I Felt: I felt so lonely and lost. I just wanted to be loved and feel accepted. I never had a yearning to be loved but for some reason during this time i just wanted to feel as if someone out there was my best friend and understood me.
🤍 My Takeaways:
1. I was settling. Prior to him getting sick he did the bare minimum even though he knew i wanted the moon and stars.
2. Set boundaries. The more you keep your boundaries held, the more people will understand you’re not playing!
3. Always put yourself and your career first!
🤍updates: God put amazing people in my life to help with manging my health problems. They also helped me through the break up. I also took a leap of faith and put myself out there to making friends and dating again and the results are really amazing and I’m loving life again.
As I grow as a woman, i take every lesson as a blessing and learn from it. 21 has been such an up and down year for me but I’m so blessed to still be alive and standing. All thanks to Gods grace 💕💕💕
