Think fresh, dewy skin, a well-rested glow, and a look that’s naturally pretty, as if you haven’t spent hours on your makeup. Inspired by the French girl and other European styles, this look works for everyone—no matter your skin tone, hair color, eye shape, or age. It all begins with your overall appearance, and there’s no better place to start than with a solid skincare routine to keep your face looking—and feeling—its absolute best!

Taking care of your skin involves more than just applying products—it's about understanding your skin's needs and adjusting your routine to address specific concerns.

Here’s my go to self-care routine with recommendations based on skin type, problem areas, and best practices for optimal results.

☀️Daily Routine☀️

🧴Cleanser

Why: Cleansing removes dirt, oil, and impurities that accumulate on your skin throughout the day.

Recommendation: For oily or acne-prone skin, opt for a foaming cleanser with salicylic acid. If you have dry or sensitive skin, a gentle, hydrating cleanser is best.

How To: Use lukewarm water and massage the cleanser into your skin for 60 seconds before rinsing.

Why: Face wash ensures deeper cleansing, especially after removing makeup or sunscreen.

Recommendation: Choose a sulfate-free face wash to avoid stripping your skin's natural oils.

If you have oily or acne-prone skin, a gentle foaming cleanser with a low percentage of salicylic acid can be fantastic for clearing pores without over-drying. For drier or sensitive skin types, a creamy, hydrating cleanser or even a micellar water can be perfect. As seen in guides showcasing face washes categorized by skin type, picking the right one is crucial. Remember, massage gently for 60 seconds with lukewarm water – it’s not just about the product, but the technique! This change alone made a huge difference in my skin's texture and overall calmness.
