My tips for online college 🎓

I just started school again and it’s ALL ONLINE!!! Sooo… I thought I’d share a few things that have kept me going thus far in the year:

Pomodoro Timers 🕒

I started using this method for longer study sessions. I usually use the 30/10 timers but you can find a variety on YouTube. Some have music, sounds of nature, and some have a body doubling experience to them. The study with me videos. These have helped tremendously with my productivity! I also really take advantage of the breaks by doing small workouts/stretches or a social media scroll - without the doom!

Blue Light Glasses 👓

Wearing a pair of blue light glasses is essential to my life as an online student because I spend countless hours at my desk or on my devices for assignments. These have made a huge impact on how long I’m able to do assignments without eye strain or headaches.

Morning☀️Evening🌘 Motivation

Knowing if you an Early Worm or Night Owl — Use that to act on when your motivation levels are at their highest. I’m a morning person! I love being awake when the birds are at it and the sun is saying hello! So I plan my TO DO List around my morning routine because I know that’s when I feel the most motivated.

Daily Desk Pad 📝

Kind of follows the tip above. Having a simple or very detailed (best for us Nero spicy brains out there!) TO DO List of your tasks for the next day in a visible spot you’ll see first thing when you get up! Planning it out the night before

so you don’t stress over what you’re supposed to get done — instead focus on how or when!
