I Finally Shot My Shot
I finally told someone I’ve liked for a while how I feel. I texted him, “Hey, I like you. I’m cool if you just want to be friends, but that’s where my head’s at…” and he hasn’t replied. It’s been almost a full day, and I’m starting to accept that it probably won’t go the way I hoped.
Even so, I feel so much lighter having said it. The anxiety, the overthinking, the “what ifs” were way worse than just putting my feelings out there. Honestly, if you’re debating whether to shoot your shot, just do it. Best case, it works out. Worst case, it doesn’t—but at least it’s off your chest and you can move forward. Nothing to lose, everything to gain.
What’s the bravest thing you’ve done to put your feelings out there?

Actually I kissed the girl I wanted to be with but it didn’t work out that way she chose someone else
