👍Pros: There was a wide range of emotions in these poems: sadness, grief, happiness, love, and resolve. Because there was a wide range of emotion, this book didn’t feel monotone.
However, I think a younger audience(17-25 ish) may enjoy this book more than a more mature audience. In some ways, this reminded me of tumblr, where people were just putting their emotions out there. For me, it felt nostalgic, which is maybe what I really needed to feel.
Cons: Maybe it’s just me, but some of the poems felt more like social media captions. While they weren’t bad, I’m not sure if I would consider that high grade poetry.
