📚 Synopsis:

Rennedawn is in trouble, the magic is dying. It may just take the villain and his assistant to save it. However, when the king tries to play at being a hero, it puts both The Villain and his assistant as marked targets, escalating Evie to Apprentice.

💭 Thoughts:

This is a fun story that once again sucked me in like a reality show. There was a slow burn, drama, plot twists, exploring the world, and building on the importance of some of the secondary characters. I physically laughed while reading this book. If you’re looking for a lighthearted read that doesn’t try to be overly serious, then this may be a good pick for you.
