🦐 Stovetop Seafood Boil on a Budget 🍤🔥
Craving a seafood boil but don’t wanna drop $$$ at a restaurant? Girl, let me show you how I make a stovetop version boujee but budget-friendly with Aldi finds 🙌
✨ What I used:
• 🥔 Yellow potatoes (boil ‘til fork-tender)
• 🌽 Super sweet frozen corn
• 🦐 Raw, peeled shrimp (2 lb family pack from Fremont)
• 🌭 Beef smoked sausage (slice it up!)
• 🧄 Minced garlic
• 🧈 Butter (don’t be shy, use the whole stick 😌)
• 🧂 Seasoned salt (a must!)
• • optional: Old Bay or Cajun seasoning if you have it for an extra kick!
👩🍳 How to make it:
1. Boil potatoes in salted water first. After 10-12 mins, toss in the corn.
2. In a skillet, sauté garlic in butter, then add sliced sausage until browned.
3. Add your shrimp to the pan and season it up! Shrimp cooks fast—like 2-3 mins per side.
4. Toss everything together in a big pot or bowl. Let those flavors mingle 😮💨
5. Optional: drizzle with more melted butter + seasoning on top. Don’t hold back 😏
🫧 Serve hot and eat with your hands for the full boil experience (don’t forget the paper towels!!)
