MY winter arc rules❄️

i love this trend honestly but it feels too much like 75 hard for me and ik i will not do a 75 hard so ill treat it like a 75 soft??? idk. i just didn’t want to many rules for myself. I have major depression so i already struggle to take care of myself as is. I wanted to make these rules more “suggestive” and not have too many of them as too not completely beat myself up over not doing every single thing every single day. I also wanted to base it of things that are good for me and also things that I like so that way i know i’ll at least enjoy it sometimes. 😭

The rules in question.

- sleep for 7-8 hours a day 🛌

I’m a big sleeper. All I do is sleep and nap. As a fresh 21 year old, that feels like im missing out on a lot and I know the depression has a hand in that. So im gonna try to get less sleep, so i can do more.

-wake up at 5am 6 days a week⛅️

This is really hard for me. I struggle to get out of bed everyday. Sometimes I’ll just lay in bed for hours after a wake up just staring at the wall but, when I do get up at 5am, I feel really good. I feel productive and energized all day. I wanna go for days instead of 4-5 because I know waking up at the same time every day is good for ur circadian rhythm.

-2-3 meals a day 🍽️

soooo basically I dont really eat ever?? like most i get is 2 meals a day but for the most part i just eat once a day. so this is something i wanna fix, especially since i go to the gym.

-abt 150g of protein a day 🍗

im going to go to the gym more consistently so i plan on building muscle and the rule of thumb for that is eating ur weight in protein, so thats what i plan on doing. this may seem hard but its actually pretty easy for me as long as i have a high protein breakfast.

-drink water every day🚰

i also struggle with my water intake so im not gonna give myself any minimum. I just have to drink water every day. thats all. i plan on getting liquid iv packets for extra hydration but for now i just wanna drink one big cup a day.

-gym 4-5 days a week💪🏽

I actually love the gym and i actually tend to do worse mentally when i dont go to the gym so I wanna go more often and more consistently. i’ll feel better and look better so a win is a win tbh💀

-yoga once a week🧘🏽

the gym i go to has free classes with all memberships so i wanna attend the yoga classes they have. I love yoga and i think it can be a good stress relief with everything ive been through recently and with normal college stress as well

-try to read more📚

i LOVED reading. but i fell out of it and i hate that. i went from an extreme reader to a book collector and thats just so disappointing. I wanna get back into it so i plan on replacing my screen time with reading. maybe that’ll help my brain too🙂
