Why I’m Obsessed With My Phone Setup: Part 2 | Control Center
I've honestly never organized my control center. The way it came is the way it's been since I got my iPhone (i have the 13.. so like forever ago)
But after setting up my focus modes and noticing how much easier it was to have my homescreens setup for easy accessibility, i decided the one-swipe screen deserved to be updated so it is more useful.
i am right handed and a mom. that means most of the time my hands are full and i'm struggling to hold and navigate my phone with maybe two fingers.
one swipe and i can easily access or alter:
music: that's a big one for me. airpods in, music up, anxiety/depression drowned. i need to be able to swipe down and open the app if i'm in the mood for a different station or specific song.

bluetooth: always turning it on and off if i'm showing someone a video or something, need to be able to do it quickly.
hotspot: turning on and off when i'm out of the office working from my laptop and tablet. makes it super quick to turn on during a call when i need to pull up a customer or book a job.
wifi: sp3ctrum sucks at our home. easy access to turn that sh!t off when connection interrupts my workflow.
airdrop: i used to use this all the time when i used my macbook. i work mostly on my work Windows laptop now, so it isn't used as much - but i do plan to see how i can utilize it to make life easier with the work laptop (if possible)

alarms: plans change, i like to be able to easily access alarms to set new ones or turn them off if i decide i want to sleep in.

low battery: save that charge quickkkk
calculator: dispatcher. collecting money, making estimates. 'nough said.
camera: duh
flashlight: i'm blind. low light conditions are hard to see in and forget reading if it's low lighting. shine a light on that sh!t. oh we also have animals that have to be put up or taken out at night.

focus mode: if you seen part one, you know i have 5 different ones setup for different times of the day. if anything changes (a day off, picking up on the weekends) i can easily switch.

Aside from functionality, customizing these controls also enhances phone aesthetics, keeping the screen clean and intuitive. For iPhone users with busy lifestyles or accessibility needs, tailoring the Control Center is well worth exploring. It’s an easy tweak that improves efficiency, reduces anxiety from navigating multiple screens, and keeps essential tools accessible at a moment’s notice.
