หนังสือเรื่อง "ณ งานศพของคนดีย์" เป็นหนึ่งในนิยายสืบสวนสอบสวนที่ติดใจผู้อ่านได้ดีมาก เพราะมันไม่ได้แค่เล่าเรื่องราวลึกลับธรรมดาๆ แต่เปลี่ยนบรรยากาศงานศพซึ่งควรจะเต็มไปด้วยความเศร้า ให้กลายเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของการเปิดโปงความลับและความจริงที่ไม่เคยมีใครรู้มาก่อน ผมรู้สึกว่าสิ่งที่ทำให้หนังสือเรื่องนี้โดดเด่น คือบรรยากาศงานศพที่เริ่มแรกดูเหมือนจะสงบเรียบร้อย แต่การเล่าเรื่องทีละมุมมองของแขกแต่ละคนทำให้เรารู้สึกเหมือนได้เห็นแง่มุมที่หลากหลายของผู้ตาย ผ่านความทรงจำและความลับที่ถูกเก็บซ่อนไว้ เป็นการถ่ายทอดที่ทำให้คนอ่านรู้สึกเหมือนกำลังร่วมเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในกลุ่มคนที่มาร่วมไว้อาลัยจริงๆ อีกอย่างที่ชอบมากคือจังหวะการเล่าที่ผสมผสานระหว่างความลึกลับและอารมณ์ขันแบบตลกร้าย ทำให้เราไม่มีทางรู้เลยว่าเรื่องราวต่อไปจะออกมาในรูปแบบไหน และเมื่อพาร์ทของการสืบสวนที่เหมือนจะผ่อนคลายกลับกลายเป็นความตื่นเต้นที่ทำให้หยุดอ่านไม่ได้จริงๆ เคล็ดลับอีกอย่างคือ การที่ผู้เขียนไม่ได้ทำให้เรื่องซับซ้อนจนเกินไป ผู้อ่านจึงสามารถสนุกไปกับการเดา และคิดตามไปกับเหตุการณ์ต่างๆ ได้แบบเพลิดเพลิน ไม่ต้องกังวลว่าจะหลงประเด็น ในแง่ของเนื้อหาที่สื่อสารได้ดี คือการตั้งคำถามในใจเราเองว่า "คนที่ถูกเรียกว่าเป็นคนดี จริงๆ แล้วเป็นอย่างที่เราคิดหรือไม่?" ซึ่งเปิดโอกาสให้เราคิดวิเคราะห์และทบทวนมุมมองของเราเกี่ยวกับความดีและความจริงได้อย่างลึกซึ้ง สุดท้ายแล้ว ฉันคิดว่าหนังสือเล่มนี้เหมาะกับคนที่ชอบอ่านแนวสืบสวนสอบสวน มีความลึกลับชวนติดตาม และชอบงานเขียนที่ท้าทายความเชื่อของเราเกี่ยวกับตัวบุคคล สำนวนที่อ่านง่ายและเรื่องราวที่ตั้งใจจัดวางให้มีความตื่นเต้นทุกตอน ทำให้งานเล่านี้ไม่เหมือนใครและอ่านสนุกจนวางไม่ลงจริงๆ
