Future RBT ✨🧩💗

As I embark on this new career path as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), it's essential to understand the foundational aspects of behavior analysis. RBTs play a crucial role in implementing behavior plans for individuals with autism and other developmental disorders. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of clients through evidence-based practices. The training includes learning various techniques used in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), such as discrete trial training and natural environment teaching. RBTs must also develop skills in collecting data and working with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to ensure quality care. Additionally, being an RBT often requires strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and their families. Sharing personal experiences, like my Valentine’s Day filled with learning and self-development, adds to the authenticity of this journey.
