One thing I am grateful for this year?
Ever felt like you were on a rollercoaster blindfolded? That's pretty much how my life has felt since August 2023.
Since losing my job last August though company layoffs, I've struggled to bounce back and move forward. But through it all, I'm incredibly grateful for how God has been working in my life.
When I look back on 2023 now, I feel like at Woman Evolve something shifted.I remember exactly what I was praying for at the time and I can see a lot of it being revealed now as time has passed. When I think about this conference now, it's like this weight lifted, and I feel closer to God than ever before.
The one area I'm still struggling with is "unemployment". Starting my own business in June was a leap of faith, and honestly, it's been harder than I expected. Some days I'm filled with doubt, but then I remember those moments of clarity and peace since Woman Evolve.
This journey has taught me the power of surrender. Instead of dwelling on what's not working, I'm choosing to focus on the blessings – the opportunity to pursue my passion, the lessons I'm learning, the changes in my immediate family, and the unwavering support of my faith. Even when things don't go as planned, there's always something to be thankful for. This year, it's the presence of God in my life.
